The factory

Inside the factory: how the fabric is made and checked

Each order moves from yarn to packed roll in eight steps. Our own staff follow it on the production floor, and every batch is tested before the rolls are packed.

Eight steps

From yarn to packed roll

  1. Yarn

Polyester yarn is set up on the creel for the construction your order calls for.

  2. Greige weaving

The base cloth is woven first, in the width and weight your order calls for.

  3. Dyeing

Colored to the color card or to the reference you send.

  4. Coating

Blackout lines take one to three coating passes on the back.

  5. Embroidery

Embroidered sheers are stitched on long multi-head machines.

  6. Printing

Patterns are printed when the order calls for them.

  7. Inspection

Each roll goes over the inspection frame before it is packed.

  8. Rolling and packing

Wound onto rolls, packed for export and labeled with your order details.
